Hi Blog,
I've never written anything like this before, so i thought i'd get some practice in before we go. Just finished orientation and i'm now sat in my very empty flat trying to arrange a goodbye meal for (REALLY) close friend Gloria who is going to study in Italy for a year. :-(
So this is the first post of (hopefully) many to come. I hope that you all (if any) enjoy reading about our escapades as much as we will enjoy writing about them. Speak to you all soon!

Hi Dan,
I'm delighted to be the first person to write on your blog. To everyone who may be reading this, I am Daniel's Auntie Yvonne, but will be signing as Von. I tracked you all on the Flight Tracker but I think everyone was relieved when we had the phone call to say that you had landed safely.
Everyone here says "hi". Dad has not had too bad a day so far & mum is fine - still enjoying the tennis. Jo has just finished cleaning out her flat - yes that's right CLEANING!!!!!! She moves into her house properly this afternoon. Hopefully, I'm going over to Leeds on Saturday to see it & your mother is going through the week.
Harley got 20/24 for his French Oral so if you think on & you get a minute, send him a text - that's if you've charged your phone, & more importantly, if you've remembered to take the charger with you this year!!!!!!!
To all of you, have a fantastic time & take care of yourselves. Hope to hear lots of exciting things over the coming weeks, & if anyone can downloads photos, then that would be a bonus.
