It is a long time since I posted any photos here, so here's one for your entertainment:

This is me petting a crocodile at Paga. As you can see, I my hair is braided. I took it out shortly after putting it in because sleeping was rather uncomfortable.
Last Wednesday's party went quite well. The pasta salad and pizza was not a massive hit with our Ghanaian friends, however. We all loved it, Abi (and others, but mainly Abi) did an amazing job.
On Thursday Abi and I were supposed to go to Karaga, but we didn't because Mr Sulley had not had all the necessary repairs done to the motorbikes.
On Friday we actually did go to Karaga. We spent three hours riding there and three hours riding back, all so we could deliver a couple of letters to the DCE, and lobby him, which consisted of telling him about the project and him saying 'yes, we'll fund it'. This was not, we felt, worth sending 3 people on a 6-hour, 140-km round trip.
On Sunday, Mr Sulley got married to his second wife. We went in the morning to the mosque, where we got a speech from some kind of community leader. We then went to Mr Sulley's house, where we ate outside with a lot of other people. We then went home for a bit and Pnina and I came back at about 3:30 to see some dancers. These were the best dancers we'd seen since coming to Ghana, but not all of us went because some people weren't feeling well.
That brings us up to date. Keep reading!
